The Mission project was an electrical transmission line scope of work that included foundations for 4 new Fraser River Crossing towers on the Abbotsford to Mission 69kv double circuit Transmission Line. Foundations consist of 30 meter piles and reinforced concrete pile caps.
This hydro project involved the construction of concrete foundations for powerhouse, pipeline thrustblocks, concrete inlet structure and concrete weir for a 1 MW Run of the River project.
IDL has completed the excavation of 60,000 m3 of native material for Fortis, followed by the form and pour of new bases for two switching stations in Duck Lake and Black Mountain. The contract was completed with the installation of ground grid and fencing.
Constructed a 55km of resource/coal haul road through the Rocky 6 Mountains to accommodate 150 tonne multi-axle haul units including 10 bridges. 160,000 cubic meters of surfacing gravel, 5,000m of culvert. Extensive environmental works.
The scope of work included: anode baking furnace, carbon office, cast house office, cafeteria & change house and general buildings; major contract works package, underground utilities corridor; structural upgrades; site wide excavations, fill and dewatering, mechanical tie-ins.
